Recipe Ingredients for Rajma Rasmisa

2 c. kidney beans
1 c. tomato puree
1 onion, chopped
4 1/2 oz. diced green chili peppers
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tbsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. coriander
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive oil
170 g (1 single-serve container) soy yogurt, plain

Recipe Directions for Rajma Rasmisa

  1. Heat oil in saucepan. Add onions and saute until translucent.

  2. Add ginger and tomato paste and mix well. Cook until heated through.

  3. Add green chilis, cumin, coriander, chili powder, yogurt, and salt. Cook 6 minutes.

  4. Add kidney beans and 1/2 c. water. Cook 20 minutes.

  5. Serve warm.
