Red Kidney Beans with Onion and Tomato spice sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Rajma Masala

4 serving Kidney Beans, Swad
2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
2 medium Tomatoes
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Exotic Indian Spices
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Ginger Root
10 grams Extra Light Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Rajma Masala

  1. Soak the red kidney beans overnight.

  2. Next day, cook in a pressure cooker till done

  3. Heat the oil and fry the onions for 5 minutes.

  4. Add ground Rajma masala spice

  5. Add the grounded ginger-garlic paste and chili powder and cook again for 3 minutes.

  6. Add the tomato chopped and cook until well done .

  7. Add the mixture to the boiled kidney beans.

  8. Add salt to taste.

  9. Cook again till 10 minutes til the rajma (kidney beans) gets nice flavor.

  10. Garnish with Kasuri Methi
