Not really healthy, but so good ! Make a litter better by using whole wheat flour and sugar substitute, but doesn't really taste the same :)

Recipe Ingredients for Raisin Tea Buns (ie Scones)

4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, unsalted
4 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1 1/4 cup skim milk
1 cup coconut
1 1/2 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for Raisin Tea Buns (ie Scones)

  1. Put flour, sugar, baking powder in large bowl

  2. Add butter and work in flour with hands until no lumps remain

  3. Add raisins and coconut then make well in centre and add egg and milk

  4. mix into a stiff dough

  5. roll out on floured board to about 1 inch thick. Cut out with a circle cutter (glass works fine)

  6. Place onto an ungreased baking sheet adn cook at 400 F for 12-15 min or until lightly brown
