Low fat, low salt cookie. Puffs up when baked. Good for snack.

Recipe Ingredients for Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup raisins
2 cups flour
3 cups rolled oats
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup promise margarine
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup of unprocessed bran
1 cup sugar

Recipe Directions for Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix eggs, sugar, and margarine until blended.

  3. Add flour, oats bran, applesauce, baking soda and vanilla until mixed. Stir in raisins.

  4. Drop by teaspoonfull on to cookies sheet.

  5. Bake 8-10 minutes, transfer to wire rack to cool.

  6. Can freeze baked dough up to one month.
