Cookies Original recipe called for raisins.

Recipe Ingredients for Raisin or Cranberry Puffs - Amish Recipe

1 1/2 c cranberries, dried
1 c water
1 c butter
1 t baking soda
1 t vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c sugar
3 1/4 c Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1/2 t salt
1 c white chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Raisin or Cranberry Puffs - Amish Recipe

Boil raisins or cranberries in 1 c water until water is gone. Then add: butter and baking soda. In another pot, heat together vanilla, eggs and sugar. Add to raisin/cranberry mixture and stir. In large bowl, combine raisin/cranberry mixture with flour and salt. Mix well. Flour hands. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
