Recipe Ingredients for Raisin Bread

3 cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 cups Granulated sugar
1 tbsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup Raisins
1 Egg, Beaten
1/4 cup Butter
1 cup Milk

Recipe Directions for Raisin Bread

  1. In large bowl measure all 7 ingredients. Stir thoroughly. Make a well in center.

  2. In a small bowl beat egg until frothy. Mix melted butter and milk. Pout into well. Stir just enough to moisten. Scrape into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake in 350F oven for 1 hour. Serve plain or toasted with butter. Yield: 1 loaf.
