Recipe Ingredients for raisin bran muffins

2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup wheat flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp allspice
1 tsp grated nutmeg
7/8 cup unsalted butter
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
4 eggs large
5 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup molasses
1/2 cup sour cream
2 1/3 cup buttermilk
3 cup wheat bran
2 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for raisin bran muffins

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in large bowl and whisk together.

  2. In Kitchenaid mixer- cream the softened butter with the brown sugar. Then add eggs one at a time, mixing in completely.

  3. Add remainimg 4 wet ingredients and mix well.

  4. Add a third of the dry mix at a time.

  5. Stir in wheat bran and raisins.

  6. Heat over to 375 degrees.

  7. Spoon mix into small muffin tins that have been sprayed with Pam.

  8. Bake 25 min.
