Recipe Ingredients for Raisin Apple Bread Pudding (1.6 Cal/gm)

4 cups bread
1 medium apple, chopped
1 cup raisins
2 eggs
13 oz evaporated milk
1/2 cup apple juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsps cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Raisin Apple Bread Pudding (1.6 Cal/gm)

  1. 4 cups day old white bread cubes

  2. 1 medium apple, chopped

  3. 1 cup raisins

  4. 2 eggs

  5. 1 13 oz can evaporated milk

  6. 1/2 cup apple juice

  7. 1/4 cup brown sugar

  8. 1 1/2 tsps cinnamon

  9. Combine bread cubes, apple, and raisins in large bowl. Mix eggs, milk, apple juice, sugar and cinnamon and pour mixture over bread mixture. Let stand until bread absorbs liquid. Pour into greased 11 x 7 inch dish.

  10. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350 until set and apples are tender. Serve with caramel sauce.
