Recipe Ingredients for Ragu Sauce

500 grams Beef
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
400 grams Tomatoes
2 oz Tomato Puree
2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
0.33 full glass (6.0 fl oz) Wine, Table, Red
1 package (6 oz) Pork, Cured, Canadian-style Bacon, Unheated
1 Cube Stock Cubes
1 clove Garlic
1 serving Cooking Spray All Varieties

Recipe Directions for Ragu Sauce

  1. Finely chop the onions, pepper and garlic and gently soften in the spray oil.

  2. Add the beef and bacon and brown the mewat in high.

  3. Add the tomotaoes, tomato puree, mushrooms, wine, stock and herbs. Simmer gently in the pan for 30 minutes with the lid on.

  4. Serve with pasta.
