Recipe Ingredients for Rachel's crock pot rice casserole

1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion
15 ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2/3 cup long grain rice
1 cup canned whole corn
1/2 cup chopped green pepper

Recipe Directions for Rachel's crock pot rice casserole

Crumble ground beef in the bottom of the crock pot. Layer onions on beef. Mix tomato sauce, water and spices in small bowl. Pour 1/2 of the liquid over the onions. Layer rice over sauce evenly, then corn. Pour remaining liquid over corn. Top with bell pepper. Cover and cook on LOW for about 5 hours.
