Fish Stew found at Food Network with modifications. I used the fish I had in the freezer. Can add any type of fish/seafood you want but then you'll have to reanalyze.

Recipe Ingredients for Rachel Ray's Cioppino

1/8 cup olive oil
3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
6 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
3 stalk,+medium+7-1/2"+-+8"+long celery
1 cup dry white wine
6 cups chicken stock
28 oz crushed tomatoes
8 oz rotel tomatoes
1 cup parsley
1/2 cup cilantro
1 tablespoon thyme
1 lb cod
1/8 pound tilapia
1/4 lb red snapper
3/4 lb shrimp

Recipe Directions for Rachel Ray's Cioppino

  1. In a large pot over moderate heat combine oil, crushed pepper, garlic and bay leaf.

  2. Chop celery and onion, add to pot as you work. Saute vegetables for a few minutes to begin to soften and add wine to the pot. Reduce wine a minute then add chick stock, tomatoes, thyme, parsley and cilantro. Bring sauce to a bubble and reduce heat to medium low.

  3. Season chunks of fish (cut into 2 inch pieces) with salt and peper. Add fish and simmer 5 minutes, giving the pot a shake now and then. Do not stir your soup with a spoon after addition of fish or you will break it up. Add shrimp and cover pot. Cook 8 minutes, giving the pot a good shake now and again.

  4. Remove lid and carefully ladle into shallow bowls.
