Recipe Ingredients for Rachael Ray's Shephards Pie

1 lb lean ground beef
1 lb mushrooms, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp all purpose flour
3 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 cups beef broth
7 potatoes, medium
1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup chives, chopped

Recipe Directions for Rachael Ray's Shephards Pie

  1. Brown beef-add mushrooms and onions.

  2. Boil potatoes and mash with blue cheese and chives.

  3. Make gravy with butter, worcestershire, flour and beef broth.

  4. Combine gravy and beef.

  5. Top with mashed potatoes.

  6. Broil under broiler until potatoes are brown.
