Recipe Ingredients for Quinoa Tahini cookies

150 grams quinoa
110 grams light brown sugar
100 grams cold butter, cubed
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup raw tahini

Recipe Directions for Quinoa Tahini cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Grind the quinoa into a VERY FINE flour (buying actual quinoa flour is best).

  3. Mix quinoa flour, sugar, butter, and vanilla until a crumbly mixture forms.

  4. Add the tahini until you get a not too sticky ball.

  5. Form into 1 inch circles and place on parchment lined baking sheet. Smush the tops a little until you get little tallish cylinders.

  6. Sprinkle with seseme seeds for garnish if desired.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until they start to get slightly brown. The will NOT look done, remove from oven and allow to cool.
