You will know that the Quinoa is fully cooked when the grains turn from white to transparent, and the spiral like germ seperates.

Recipe Ingredients for Quinoa Pilaf

1/2 cup (dry) (uncooked) Quinoa Organic Grain
1 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
1 medium raw Bell Pepper Red
2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery
1/2 small Onions
1/2 medium Green Bell Pepper
2 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for Quinoa Pilaf

  1. Cook Quinoa: in a small pot bring 1 cup water and 1/2 cup quinoa to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 min.

  2. Saute vegtables until clear yet crisp

  3. combine hot quinoa and sauted veg.
