A tasty variation on rice pilaf. Quinoa is an often overlooked, but very healthy grain.

Recipe Ingredients for Quinoa Pilaf

1 cup quinoa,rinsed
8 g chicken flavored soup mix about 2 tsps
2 cups water
1/4 cup Craisins
1/4 cup raisins
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp curry powder

Recipe Directions for Quinoa Pilaf

  1. Rinse the pilaf to remove bitter coating.

  2. Add soup mix and quinoa to water.

  3. Bring to boil

  4. Cook 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

  5. Stir in craisins and raisins

  6. Stir in spices.

  7. Let sit about 5 minutes, covered to plump fruits.
