Recipe Ingredients for Quinoa Cereal with Fresh Fruit

1/2 cup quinoa
1 cup water
1 salt to taste
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup blueberries
2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
1/2 cup rice milk (or any dairy-free milk alternative)
1 teaspoon honey

Recipe Directions for Quinoa Cereal with Fresh Fruit

  1. Place well-rinsed quinoa, water and salt in a saucepan, cover and bring to a boil. Turn the heat to low, keep covered, and simmer for 15 minutes.

  2. Divide quinoa between two bowls, adding 1/4 cup rolled oats on top of each. Tope with half of blueberries, pumpkin seeds and almond.

  3. Serve with rice milk and honey.
