Cooked quinoa with fruit and nuts

Recipe Ingredients for Quinoa Breakfast

1.33 cups quinoa
2.67 cups water
1 apple
1/4 cup craisins
1/2 cup 2% milk
2 tbs honey
1/2 cup pecans

Recipe Directions for Quinoa Breakfast

  1. Rinse quinoa, place in saucepan with water

  2. Bring to a boil, simmer (covered) for 5 minutes

  3. Add chopped apple and craisins, cook an additional 10 minutes

  4. Add milk and honey, cook until liquid is absorbed

  5. Top with chopped pecans
