Lasagne for the slightly lazy day; takes about an hour, makes about 6 servings.

Recipe Ingredients for Quickish lasagne

Recipe Directions for Quickish lasagne

  1. heat oven to 350

  2. Prepare the sauce:

  3. finely chop onions

  4. finely chop garlic, or put into garlic press

  5. add oil to pan, sautee onions on med-hi heat until clear

  6. add garlic, sautee about one or two minutes

  7. add canned tomatos, turn heat to med-low

  8. stir in sugar when tomatos starts to bubble a little

  9. Stir in canned sauce

  10. stir in morningstar crumbles

  11. let simmer for a few minutes

  12. line the bottom of a small oven safe pan with some of this sauce

  13. press in two sheets of lasange; however many cover the bottom

  14. put some sauce on each lasagne strip

  15. add some ricotta

  16. add some blended cheese

  17. add some parmesan

  18. add some sauce

  19. repeat, lining each new layer with a lasagne strip and sauce until you reach the top of your pan

  20. put this pan on a cookie sheet

  21. put it in the oven for about 45 minutes, maybe an hour

  22. serve and savor
