I make this soup whenever I have vegetables that are about to go bad.

Recipe Ingredients for Quick Vegetable Soup

2 cups chicken or beef broth
1/2 cup chicken, cooked, shredded
1/2 cup carrots, green beans, etc
2 tbsp. tomato paste
1/4 cup elbow macaroni or shell macaroni
1/4 tsp. dried basil or oregano
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Quick Vegetable Soup

Bring broth to a boil. Drop all ingredients and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the vegetables and pasta are done. Season to taste. Serve hot.
