Recipe Ingredients for Quick Veg Chicken Soup

7 cups water
1 c chicken, diced
2 tsp chicken fat
6 carrots, baby small
1 oz onion
1/2 oz green onion, tops
84 g macaroni, dry
57 g tomatoes
2 mushrooms, large
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp thyme

Recipe Directions for Quick Veg Chicken Soup

  1. Heat broth (water+chicken fat, or whatever) to boiling

  2. Add macaroni

  3. If chicken is not cooked, add when about 10 minutes to go; if cooked, add when about 5 minutes to go.

  4. Add carrots, white onion & spices with 5 minutes or so to go

  5. Add mushrooms, diced tomatoes, green onion tops (all chopped or diced) when carrots are just about done.

  6. Cook for a minute or two longer.
