Recipe Ingredients for Quick Tamale Casserole

9.26 serving Extra Lean Ground Beef (Superstore)
2 cup, chopped Onions
6.6 serving Blue Menu Diced Tomatoes no salt added
1 cup Yellow Corn Meal
6 serving Whole Kernal Corn, frozen (no name brand)
1 tbsp Chili Powder

Recipe Directions for Quick Tamale Casserole

  1. Spray frying pan with no-stick cooking spray. Add ground beef and onion. Saute until onions are soft and no pink remains in meat. Remove from heat.

  2. Combine tomatoes and cornmeal in saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add remaining ingredients along with meat mixture. Stir. Turn into casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, in 350 oven for about 30 minutes. Makes 12 serviings.
