Quick with lots of flavor. The calories on here are more than double on the water chestnuts compared to the ones I bought (Hy Vee Brand). So I would adjust to what you buy on those.

Recipe Ingredients for Quick Shrimp Stir Fry

1 lb medium raw shrimp
8 oz Bamboo Shoots
4 oz Water Chestnuts
14 oz Bean Sprouts
8 oz Sugar Snap Peas
3 T Hoisin Sauce
1 clove minced Garlic
1/8 cup Rice Wine Vinegar
1/4 t Chili Oil
1 T Sesame Oil
1 c cooked Brown Rice

Recipe Directions for Quick Shrimp Stir Fry

  1. Mix Hoisin, Vinegar, Garlic and Chili Oil together and set aside

  2. Heat sesame oil in pan to med high

  3. Add shrimp and cook til opaque

  4. Add, sugar snaps, chestnuts, bamboo shoots, and bean sprouts, cook til tendercrisp

  5. Pour Hoisin mix in and mix to heat thoroughly

  6. Serve over Rice
