Recipe Ingredients for quick refrigerator sweet pickles

4 cucumbers
2 cloves garlic
2 cups water
1 teaspoon mustard seed
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
2 cups sliced onions
1 cup carrots
2 cups vinegar

Recipe Directions for quick refrigerator sweet pickles

  1. place cucumbers and garlic in glass bowl. Combine water, mustard seed, celery seed and turmeric in medium saucepan. Bring to boilling. Add onion and carrots, cook 2 minutes. Add vinegar, bring to just boiling. Remove from heat, stir in EQUAL 3 tablespoons, pour over cucumbers and garlic. Cool.

  2. Cover and chill at least 24 hours before serving. Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks
