Recipe Ingredients for Quick Red Beans and Rice

1 tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup ham
1/2 cup onion
1 lb turkey sausage
30 oz kidney beans
1 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp thyme
1 clove garlic
3 cups white rice, cooked

Recipe Directions for Quick Red Beans and Rice

  1. Chop the ham and onion, and saute in the oil. When the onions are halfway cooked, add in the sausage and garlic. Saute for 10 min.

  2. Dump in the kidney beans, without draining. Add in spices, stir, and saute for 15 min. Serve over rice.
