Recipe Ingredients for Quick Mushroom Pate

1 cup walnuts, chopped
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 lb mushrooms
1 tbsp Tamari soy sauce
1 black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley

Recipe Directions for Quick Mushroom Pate

  1. place walnuts in pan on med-high heat and shake pan till walnuts are toasted, set aside to cool

  2. melt butter in pan, saute onions, garlic, and mushrooms, drain liquid

  3. transfer to processor, add walnuts, soy sauce, and pepper, puree until smooth
