Fast granola snack to use up the things in my pantry

Recipe Ingredients for Quick Granola

2 cups toasted quick oats
1 cup sliced almonds
1 1/2 cup dried mixed fruit
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbls canola oil
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Quick Granola

  1. Toast the Almonds, and the oats, separate.

  2. Boil together water, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon

  3. Line a baking pan with parchment paper, mix oats, almonds and hot mixture together on there. Bake at 250 degrees for almost an hour. Add the dried fruit to the mixture, and bake for another half hour.

  4. Increase heat if you prefer it more crunchy!
