I don't know if this is truly goulash. My mom used to make it when I was little and that's what she called it.

1 lb. lean ground beef
12 oz. Prego spaghetti sauce
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. parsley
3/4 lb. penne pasta, cooked according to package directions

Recipe Directions for Quick and Easy Homemade Goulash

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. Brown ground beef.

  3. Add spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, thyme and parsley to ground beef.

  4. Simmer for 5 -10 minutes.

  5. Add pasta.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
