Good and hearty soup, can eat hot or cold. Follow directions for amounts of ingredients, the black beans were difficult to enter for calorie count.

Recipe Ingredients for Quick and Easy Black Bean Soup

13/20 cup cooked black beans
10 ounces canned tomatoes
1 cup vegetable broth
1/2 cup salsa

Recipe Directions for Quick and Easy Black Bean Soup

  1. Drain and rinse 1 15.5 ounce can of black beans.

  2. Place in blender and add broth.

  3. Blend until smooth.

  4. Remove and place on stove and add canned tomatoes (I used Rotel).

  5. Add salsa (I use fresh) before serving.

  6. Can add cheese or sour cream on top if desired (not in listed calories).
