Purchase a few items and add to a pasta sauce. We added a jalepeno for a little heat. It would also be great with a variety of smoked mushrooms, carrots, peppers, etc to make it even more hearty than it turns out to be like it is

5 serving Francesco Rinaldi Hearty Tomato Basil Sauce
1 medium Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 cloves Garlic

Recipe Directions for Quick Delish Ragu (by Ruby)

  1. Sautee garlic and onion.

  2. Add diced zuccini.

  3. Stir in pasta sauce and let simmer.

  4. Add pepper to taste.
