Recipe Ingredients for Quick Chili

1 tsp Cooking Oil
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp chilies
1/2 tsp salt
14 oz diced tomatoes, canned
14 oz red kidney beans, canned, rinsed, drained
7 1/2 oz tomato sauce, canned

Recipe Directions for Quick Chili

  1. Heat cooking oil in large frying pan on medium-high. Add ground beef and onion. Fry 5 - 10 minutes. Drain

  2. Add next 6 ingredients and heat through.

  3. Add remaining 3 ingredients. Stir well. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered about 5 minutes.
