Recipe Ingredients for Quick Chick Pea, Sunflower Seed Salad

1 cup romaine lettuce leaves, chopped
1/3 cup garbanzo beans
1/4 cup carrot, slivers
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
1/2 ounces cheddar cheese, cubed
1 tbsp blue cheese, crumbled
1 tbsp fat-free yogurt
1 tbsp buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 dash black pepper
1 dash salt

Recipe Directions for Quick Chick Pea, Sunflower Seed Salad

  1. Wash and spin dry the lettuce

  2. Place in bowl and top with garbanzos, carrot, sunflower seeds, and cheddar cheese.

  3. In a small bowl, mix blue cheese, yogurt, buttermilk, garlic and onion powders, salt and pepper. Drizzle over salad and toss.

  4. Serve with a couple of sesame seed breadsticks.
