Recipe Ingredients for Quick Calzones

1 lb pizza dough
3/4 c shredded fontina cheese
1/2 c sliced roasted red peppers
1/4 c chopped fresh basil
3 oz prosciutto, chopped
3 oz goat cheese

Recipe Directions for Quick Calzones

  1. preheat oven to 450. divide dough into 3 equal pieces. roll or stretch each piece into 6 inch round.

  2. mound equal portions of ingredients in center of dough rounds

  3. gently pull half of dough over filling to make a /12 moon shape. fold bottom edge over top edge and pinch firmly to seal. brush tops lightly with olive oil.

  4. bake on middle rack until golden brown 20 - 25 minutes. let cool about 5 minutes.
