A quiche I came up with for a potluck at work when I had a lot of eggs around and wanted to make sure there was something other than junk food there.

Recipe Ingredients for Quiche - smoked salmon and green onion

3 eggs
3/4 cup half and half
1 pie crust
3 oz fontina cheese
1 oz smoked salmon
4 green onions
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Quiche - smoked salmon and green onion

  1. Whisk eggs together with half and half. Add seasonings.

  2. Shred cheese and spread in bottom of pie crust.

  3. Chop smoked salmon and green onion. Sprinkle on top of cheese.

  4. Pour egg mixture into pie crust.

  5. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 and bake for another 25 minutes. Let cool before serving.
