Recipe Ingredients for quiche lorraine

1/6 c butter (view)
1/6 c shortening (view)
1 1/2 c whole wheat flour (view)
2 tbsp water (view)
2 oz bacon, (1/2 lb uncooked) (view)
1 onion, chopped (view)
3 eggs, beaten (view)
1 1/2 cups skim milk (view)
1/4 teaspoon salt (view)
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (view)
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (view)

Recipe Directions for quiche lorraine

  1. mix 1st 4 ingredients to make pie shell.

  2. bake shell at 400 for 8-10 min.

  3. cook bacon, drain and crumble.

  4. saute onion in same pan (with a tiny bit of drippings), until translucent.

  5. mix eggs milk and salt.

  6. stir bacon and onion into egg mixture.

  7. toss cheese with flour.

  8. mix cheese into egg mixture.

  9. pour in pie shell.

  10. cook at 350 degrees for about 40 min or until a knife stuck in the middle comes out celan.
