Recipe Ingredients for Queen's Oats

8 cups regular Rolled Oats
1 1/2 cups firmly packed Brown Sugar
1 1/2 cups regular Wheat Germ
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cup Unprocessed Bran
1/2 cup olive Oil
3/4 cup Honey
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 cup Craisins

Recipe Directions for Queen's Oats

  1. Stir to blend in large bowl: Oats, Sugar, Wheat Germ, Nuts and Bran

  2. In small saucepan heat: Honey, Oil, Vanilla until bubbly.

  3. Thoroughly mix dry and wet ingredients together.

  4. Spread on 2 greased (or not) jelly roll pan or rimmed cookie sheet. I use a silpat instead of greasing.

  5. Bake at 325 until lightly browned (10-15minutes)

  6. Remove from oven and stir to prevent clumping. Let cool.

  7. Add craisins. I guess it could store in airtight container for a while. But it never lasts more than a week, so I don't know how long it lasts.
