Recipe Ingredients for Quaker Banana Bran Muffins

1 1/2 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
50 grams Vegetable Shortening
2 medium Egg, Whole
250 grams Neilson 2% Milk
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
3/4 tsp Salt, Table
375 grams Natural Wheat Bran
1/2 cup (not packed) Raisins, Seedless
3 small (6" to 6-7/8" long) Bananas
1 cup All Purpose Flour

Recipe Directions for Quaker Banana Bran Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees celcius

  2. Cream shortening and sugar together

  3. Add bananas and eggs and beat together well

  4. add milk and bran.

  5. Combine bran baking soda, baking powder, and salt together

  6. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and add raisins to mixture

  7. Place in muffin papers

  8. bake for 18-20 minutes
