Pepper & Tomato Sauce for Pasta

Recipe Ingredients for Puttenesca Sauce Vegetarian style

345 grams Red Peppers
11 grams Olive Oil
4 grams garlic
2 grams Dried Parsley
2 grams Dried Basil
390 grams canned tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon dried red chili
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Puttenesca Sauce Vegetarian style

  1. Slice Peppers thinly and cook in Olive oil gently for about 15 mins

  2. Add Dried Chili and minced garlic and cook for a further minute

  3. Fill a pan with water for pasta and put on heat to boil

  4. Add can of tomotoes, chopped, plus th eherbs and lemon juice then cook on a high simmer until tomatoes have reduced slighlty and the pasta is cooked to your liking.

  5. Serve on pasta of your choice
