Basic Purity cookbook recipe without the 2 tablespoons of oil. haven't tried making it yet, but I think it will work.

Recipe Ingredients for Purity Buttermilk Pancakes (w/o oil)

1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1 3/4 c buttermilk

Recipe Directions for Purity Buttermilk Pancakes (w/o oil)

  1. Combine wet and dry ingredients in two separate bowls.

  2. Comine the wet and dry ingredients into one bowl

  3. Set the stove to between 5 and 6 on an electric range

  4. Use a 1/4 cup scoop to measure out the pancake batter into the pan

  5. Flip the pancake when the edges start to bubble, use your judgement to determine when pancake is done...if it's burnt, you've waited too long.
