Slightly sweet, this pumpkin yeast bread is deftly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Yeast Bread

5/8 c. pumpkin
1/2 c. water
2 T. butter
1/4 c. nonfat dry milk powder
2 T. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp. ginger
1 1/4 c. bread flour
1 1/2 c. white whole wheat flour
1 T. active dry yeast
3/4 c. currants

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Yeast Bread

Place ingredients in bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select dough cycle. Once cycle is complete, shape dough and place in a greased loaf pan. Allow to rise in a warm spot until doubled in size. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 35 - 40 minutes.
