Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Spice Lara"bars"

1/2 c walnuts
1/2 c almonds
1 c dates
2 t cinnamon
1/4 t ginger
1/8 t allspice
1/8 t salt
1/8 t nutmeg
1 t vanilla

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Spice Lara"bars"

  1. 1. Pit and coarsely chop the dates.

  2. 2. In a food processor, process dates for about 1 minute, until finely grated. Empty into a bowl.

  3. 3. Add nuts and all spices/vanilla/salt to the food processor and process for about 30sec ? 1minute, until finely ground. [small pebble to sand type texture]

  4. 4. Add dates back in and process until combined.

  5. 5. Press/roll into small balls with your hands.

  6. 6. Store in a covered container, or individually wrapped in saran and place in the refrigerator.
