Delicious and super easy to make. I have a maple glaze that goes with these tasties, but my friends find them sweet enough without the glaze!

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Scones

2 cups flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
3 tablespoons half-and-half
1 large egg

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Scones

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl

  2. Wisk wet ingredients in a small bowl

  3. Fold wet ingredients into the dry ingredients

  4. Separate dough into two balls on a floured surface

  5. Cut each into eighths, separate pieces, and bake at 400 degrees for 14 - 18 minutes until golden brown

  6. Freeze uneaten scones immediately - reheat in toaster oven, about 5 minutes on 350 degrees
