2 1/4 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 cup shortening 6-7 Tbsp water 3 cups pumpkin,cooked mashed 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 3 eggs,slightly beaten 1 1/4 cups soya milk

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Pie with Soya Milk

2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup shortening
6 tbsp water
3 cups pumpkin,cooked mashed
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3 eggs,slightly beaten
1 1/4 cups soya milk

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Pie with Soya Milk

  1. Make your crust and press into pie plate.

  2. Mix filling ingredients and pour into pastry.

  3. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 F.

  4. Lower over to 350 F and make an additional 35 minutes or until custard sets.If your crust is quite brown but there is still some Jiggle to your custard I would take it out as it continues to solidify while cooling.
