Oatmeal with pumpkin pie taste that packs a healty punch.

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

1/4 cup skim milk
6 tbl water
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 cup canned pumpkin
1/8 cup slivered almonds
1/8 cup water
2/3 cup soy protein

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

  1. Bring milk and water to boil. Add oats, cinnamon & nutmeg. Reduce heat to med-low and simmer until liquid is absorbed (about 7 to 10 min)

  2. One liquid is absorbed stir in pumpkin and almonds

  3. Combine 1/8 cup of water and soy 1 scoop of soy protein powder, mix well. Pour over oatmeal and serve.

  4. NOTE: I could not get protein powder recognized in this recipe analyzer - but I did find soy protein. So I added the amount of Soy protein until the recipe analyzed like the actual recipe I have. It's actually 1 scoop of soy or whey protien and 1/8 cup of water mixed. :-)
