Harry Potter style pumpkin pasties

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Pasties

1.25 cup Pumpkin
0.312 cup Sugars, Granulated
1.25 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
3 tsp Sugars, Granulated
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
5 tbsp Butter
3 tbsp All-Vegetable Shortening

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Pasties

  1. Make pie crust with the flour, 1 tbsp sugar, salt, butter, shortening and 4-6 tbsp water.

  2. Mix pumpkin and remaining sugar, season with cinnamon and nutmeg.

  3. Roll crust into 4" circles, fill with pumpkin, fold over and seal edges.

  4. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes
