A great seasonal twist on classic oatmeal.

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Oatmeal

2 cups oats
3 cups skim milk
1/2 cup cooked pumpkin, puréed
1/4 tsp pumpkin spice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tbsp raisins

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Oatmeal

  1. Microwave:

  2. Place oatmeal in a microwave-safe bowl an stir in milk. Microwave on high for 2-4 minutes, then remove from microwave. Stir in pumpkin and spices. Heat for 40-60 seconds or until heated through. Stir in raisins and sugar directly before serving.

  3. Stove top:

  4. Bring milk to boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in oats and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add pumpkin and spices and stir until heated through. Stir in raisins directly before serving.
