Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Nut bread with healthy oils

1/2 cup walnut oil
1/2 cup milled flax seed
1/2 cup honey
2/3 cup Splenda
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 c egg substitute
15 oz canned pumpkin
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
3 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking soda
2/3 cup hot water
1 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Nut bread with healthy oils

  1. Mix walnut oil, flax seeds honey, Splenda, vanilla extract, pumpkin, spices and egg substitute together until creamy.

  2. Stir in flour and salt.

  3. Add the baking soda to hot water, stir to dissolve, and then add to batter.

  4. Blend in chopped nuts.

  5. Spread batter into greased loaf pans (2 medium or 3 small)

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.

  7. Let cool for a half hour or more before cutting.
