Recipe Ingredients for pumpkin muffins

3 cups sugar
1 cup applesauce
4 eggs
15 oz pumpkin
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp cloves
2/3 cup water

Recipe Directions for pumpkin muffins

  1. Mix sugar and applesauce

  2. Lightly beat eggs, add those and pumpkin to sugar/ applesauce mixture

  3. Combine all dry ingredients

  4. Mix wet and dry ingredients, add water

  5. Fill 12-cup muffin tin 2/3rds full

  6. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes

  7. Makes 36 muffins
