Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Muffins

4 oz light cream cheese
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 1/4 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Muffins

  1. Soften cream cheese.

  2. Cream applesauce, sugar and cream cheese well.

  3. Add one egg at a time and cream well.

  4. Add pumpkin and mix.

  5. In separate bowl mix dry ingredients.

  6. Mix dry and wet just enough to moisten.
