24 tsp Brown Sugar Blend
0.67 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
1 cup Original
6 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
48 tsp Sweetener
3 tsp Leavening Agents, Baking Soda
1 tbsp Salt, Table
1.5 cup Original
1.5 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
1.5 cup Organics Applesauce
0.67 cup Molasses
0.33 cup slices (1" dia) Ginger Root
2 cup Pumpkin
1 tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Ginger Cake (with cream cheese filling)

  1. Whisk cream cheese, splenda brown sugar blend, 2/3 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup of pumpkin, and 1 cup of egg beaters. Set aside in refrigerator.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients of the cake batter together in another bowl (6 cups flour, 1 cup splenda, bakinng soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice).

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk 1 1/2 cups egg beaters, 1 1/2 cups skim milk, 1 1/2 cups applesauce, 2/3 cups molasses, 1 and a half cups pumpkin, and the grated/smashed/minced fresh ginger.

  4. Bake at 350 in greased and floured bundt pan for about an hour or until toothpick/knife comes out clean.
