Not a diet food. This has fat, sugar and salt and tastes really good. The green beans help to spread around the yumminess and the calories. Each service is large. Sometime a dinner serving can be two lunches the next day. The pumpkin also helps cut down on the butter.

Recipe Ingredients for Pumpkin Fettuccine Alfredo with Green Beans

5 tbsp unsalted butter
1/3 cup cream cheese
1/3 cup pumpkin
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp sea salt
12 ounce fettuccine
1/3 cup skim milk
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
32 ounces green beans

Recipe Directions for Pumpkin Fettuccine Alfredo with Green Beans

Make the pasta according to the directions. Steam the green beans. Before draining the pasta, make the alfredo sauce ? melt the butter, add the powders, then add the cream cheese to the melted butter - stir in and keep the heat low. Add the pumpkin, grated parm cheese, and the milk. Stir and keep heat low. Drain the pasta and cool down with cool water, put aside. Add the cinnamon and nutmeg (just a tiny bit). Add alfredo sauce to the pasta and reserve some for the beans.
